Complete delivery of a 15 MW battery storage system for C-Energy Planá — civil, electrical installation and technology parts turnkey, including software commissioning, protection settings and initial inspections.

The project started with the construction of concrete foundations and a safe earthing system, which created a stable platform for installing a state-of-the-art 15 MW battery storage system. This sophisticated technology, divided into three autonomous blocks, consisted of the precise placement of containers with high-capacity battery cells (CATL Li-ion Battery Rack – Lithium Iron Phosphate), WSTECH ESI power inverters and an advanced control system installed by ALFEN.

The technology package was completed by a kiosk transformer station built on a GRITEC skeleton (type 4x UF 3072), three ABB RESIBLOC three-phase transformers rated 5000 kVA and 6,300/690 V, and two auxiliary supply transformers rated 250 kVA with a ratio of 6.3/0.42 kV. The transformer station was further fully equipped with an MV switchboard, an RK9 data cabinet from MICROSTEP-HDO, ALFEN POC meter cabinets and a BENNING CR backup power supply.

After successful software commissioning, protection settings (ABB REF620 / REU615) and load testing, the system was fully ready for operation. The project was finally closed by finishing landscaping works, including environmentally sound drainage of rainwater into an infiltration sump and grassing of the whole site.
